ABMA Recognizes the National Board at Annual Meeting

The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) recognized the National Board for 25 years of associate membership at its annual meeting held January 17-20, 2020, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego.

National Board Assistant Executive Director – Technical Gary Scribner accepted the accolade on behalf of the National Board and its members during the meeting’s closing session on January 20.

A beautiful blue award commemorating the Board’s 25-year membership is on display in the board room at National Board headquarters in Columbus.

National Board Executive Director Joel Amato expressed his appreciation, saying “The ABMA is an important partner in the continued success of the boiler industry and the National Board. We are honored to be recognized for our membership and look forward to the next 25 years.”

The ABMA Annual Meeting featured presentations on economic trends, cybersecurity, and energy, as well as group meetings and networking events.

During the closing session, ABMA announced the creation of BOILER 2021 - ABMA Boiler Technology Conference & Expo. Scheduled for October 12-14, 2021, in Dallas, Texas, the conference will include a two-day tradeshow and educational programming with a focus on the latest in boiler technology from product development and installation to operation and maintenance.
