The 50-Year Club:
NBBI Honors the 13 Inspectors with Active Commissions Spanning Five Decades
For a select group of National Board Commissioned Inspectors, five decades of service means more than just longevity. It reflects a lifetime of dedication to the safety of pressure equipment.
According to NBBI records, 13 inspectors have active commissions of at least 50 years. These inspectors have witnessed the industry evolve, technologies advance, and standards improve; however, one thing hasn’t changed: their commitment to doing the job right.
“To have maintained an active commission for more than 50 years is an extraordinary achievement. It’s a testament to both professional excellence and unwavering commitment to service,” NBBI Executive Director Joel Amato said. “We deeply value and honor these individuals for their lifetime of contributions to our industry and our communities.”
This edition also includes a recap of the 93rd General Meeting, which was held May 11-14 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
