The National Board Remembers Don Schueler

The National Board is saddened to learn of the passing of Robert “Don” Schueler Jr. on March 1, 2023. He was 81.

Mr. Schueler retired July 31, 2014, after a 30-year career with the National Board. He also spent 40 years serving on more than 15 boards for the NBBI and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code committees.

Mr. Schueler attended Penn State University and Behrend College and earned a degree in drafting and design technology. He worked for Zurn Industries for 22 years before joining NBBI.
