Thomas Vandini Announced as General Session Speaker

The National Board is delighted to announce Thomas Vandini, director of quality and continuous improvement for Quality Steel Corporation (QSC), will address the 89th General Meeting in Aurora, Colorado.

Slated for the afternoon of May 11, 2020, Mr. Vandini’s presentation is titled “The Partnerships Between PVMA, ASME & The National Board.”

Since 2012, Vandini has overseen all aspects of the quality, process design, and continuous improvement initiatives across three QSC facilities, in addition to the design/engineering for all its vessels.

With over 30 years’ experience in engineering, management, and consulting roles for manufacturing companies, Vandini earned both his master’s in engineering and bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.

Since 2014, Vandini has served as a member of the NBIC Inspection subgroup and subcommittee. He is a member of the National Board Advisory Committee representing pressure vessel manufacturers and serves on the PVMA Board of Directors.
