First T/O Certificate of Authorization Issued

The National Board is glad to announce the issuance of the first T/O Certificate of Authorization for the inspection and testing of pressure relief valves (including provisions to make restorative adjustments). Aeon PEC, Inc., Process Equipment & Controls Division, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, is the recipient of T/O Certificate Number 1.

This organization used the provisions that allow a current VR certificate holder to obtain the T/O certificate without an on-site review, provided they submit the appropriate application form and quality manual updates.
