New Continuing Education “C” Endorsement Online Bundle
Nuclear Concrete (C, NSc )
A new “C” endorsement continuing education bundle has been added to the National Board Online Training catalog. The bundle, “Nuclear Concrete (C, NSc)” consists of two courses: Duties and Responsibilities and Materials and Testing. Both courses must be completed in order to fulfill NB-263's continuing education requirements for C, NSc endorsements. The bundle costs $100.
Duties and Qualifications is for authorized nuclear inspectors holding the National Board "C" endorsement and addresses the responsibilities for concrete construction. Topics include definitions for concrete construction; requirements for reinforcing systems; specific requirements for certification/stamping of concrete components; and qualification requirements for examination and testing personnel.
Materials and Testing is for authorized nuclear inspectors performing concrete inspections. Topics include concrete theory; chemical properties of concrete; concrete constituent materials and required testing procedures; and concrete constituent testing acceptance standards.
