Ben Crawford Retires as Georgia Chief
Ben Crawford recently announced his retirement as a National Board Member.
Crawford, the chief boiler inspector for the state of Georgia, retired effective June 28. He had been a National Board member for 12 years.
He joined the Georgia Department of Labor/Safety Engineering Division in 1996, serving as a boiler inspector, elevator inspector, and carnival amusement inspector. In 2005, he was promoted to supervisor over inspections, a position he held until becoming chief engineer in 2012.
