JRS Undergoes SOC 2 Type 2 Audit to Ensure Client Information Security
The National Board (NBBI) has completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit for the Jurisdictional Reporting System (JRS).
The audit, conducted by Armanino, LLP, evaluated JRS, an inspection workflow system, and the processes it supports. The examination focused on the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Trust Service Criteria of availability, security, and confidentiality of data.
"We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 audit, which underscores our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy for our clients," NBBI Executive Director Joel Amato said. "This achievement reflects our ongoing investment in robust information security measures.”
JRS is NBBI’s software and services suite. The initial deployment – JRS Inspect – supports inservice inspection workflows for jurisdictions, insurance carriers, and inspection companies. JRS Register is being developed to support manufacturers, repair companies, and Authorized Inspection Agencies as they register new equipment or submit repair forms to NBBI. The final product in the suite – JRS Certify – will support accreditation and certification workflows for the industry and will maintain all the records for pressure retaining items from construction to decommissioning.
