Tony Oda retired as chief boiler inspector for the state of Washington on September 1, 2020.

Serving as chief inspector since 2011, Mr. Oda spent more than four decades in the boiler and pressure vessel industry. He previously worked as an owner-user inspector and with Chevron USA before joining the state of Washington as a boiler inspector I in 1992.

Oda served as both a National Board and ASME team leader and was elected to the NBBI Board of Trustees as a member at large in 2016.
