89^th General Meeting to Usher in New Century of Safety

Boiler and pressure vessel industry leaders will gather at the 89^th National Board/ASME General Meeting to welcome A New Century of Safety, the official theme of the 2020 meeting.

Having celebrated its 100^th anniversary in 2019, the theme reflects a continued commitment by National Board and ASME members to one code, one inspector, and one stamp for the next century of safety.

“After celebrating the National Board’s 100^th anniversary, in 2020 it is time to turn our focus to the next 100 years, and the men and women who work diligently in the timeless pursuit of public safety,” said Executive Director Joel Amato.

Slated for May 11 – 15, 2020, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado, the 89^th General Meeting will feature a keynote address by Emmy-nominated actor John Ratzenberger; Wednesday Evening Banquet entertainment featuring improv-comedy duo Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of Whose Line is it Anyway; plus guest speakers from industry, group outings, and more.
