General Meeting Registration

NOTE: The link below is a separate registration form for Members and Advisory Committee only. Use this link. DO NOT USE the registration link which is available to the general public through the General Meeting tab at NBBI.org.

Guest Information

Your first guest is no charge. Additional guests age 17 years or older are $235 each. Additional guests age 16 years or younger are $85 each. Guest Tours, Wednesday Outing, and Wednesday Evening Banquet are included for all guest registrations.

Please note that minor children will not be permitted to attend functions where alcohol is being served, except for the Guest Tours, Wednesday Outing, and Wednesday Evening Banquet.

 


Hotel Information

Reservations for all Members and Advisory Committee will be made by the National Board at the New Orleans Marriott for arrival and departure as follows:

You will have the opportunity to select room type and submit any special room requirements through the registration form above. If you are not planning to attend the General Meeting or if you need further assistance, contact Connie Homer (chomer@nbbi.org or 614-431-3206) at your earliest convenience. 

Your room and tax only will be directly billed to the National Board. Meals or incidentals charged to your room cannot be direct billed, and you are responsible for paying these charges upon departure. You may then submit for reimbursement on the expense report form. See EXPENSES below.

 


Flight Information

The National Board would be happy to assist you with the purchase of airline tickets. This service is optional; however, airline tickets booked through the National Board will be billed directly to the National Board. For flight reservations, please fill out and submit the Request for Travel Form located under Members Only/Travel Request. Please contact Connie Homer (chomer@nbbi.org) for questions or changes concerning flight reservations.

 


Registration Packet/Banquet Tickets

The General Meeting registration packet for Members and Advisory Committee and their spouses/guests will be available for pick up on Sunday, May 1, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or Monday, May 2, 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. at NBBI On-Site Registration, located on the 4th floor of the New Orleans Marriott in Balconies J-K.  This package will include name badges. Badges must be worn to gain access to guest tours as these events are limited to Guests only.

Banquet tickets will also be issued at On-Site Registration where you choose your table seating.

 


Expenses

The National Board will cover expenses for each National Board/Advisory Committee member and their spouse/guest. As a reminder, for tax purposes at year end:

  • For those members residing in the U.S., you will be provided with Form 1099-Misc, which reports, as income, expenses of $600 or more paid by the National Board on behalf of your spouse/guest during the calendar year. This information is also reported to the IRS as required.
  • If you reside in Canada, this information is reported on Form 1042-S, but is not restricted to reporting only when expenses are in excess of $600. 
  • Please refer to BOT Policy 3.2, Spousal Travel for details.

Please note that the National Board will not pay for rental cars.

NOTE: a separate expense report is required for you and your spouse/guest. All spousal expense report forms must be signed by the member (not the spouse).
