GUEST OUTINGS

Free Time at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Monday, May 10
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All guests are invited to attend the dynamic Opening Session on Monday morning, which will include special entertainment and a keynote address by Hollywood legend John Ratzenberger. Afterwards, guests can create their own afternoon itinerary onsite at the hotel, which can include: basking in the sunshine at one of the hotel’s six sparkling pools, indulging in a spa service at Well & Being Spa, browsing the hotel’s retail shops, meandering through the lush hotel gardens and courtyards, or relaxing with a good book on a private patio.

Offsite Adventure Shuttle Service: Old Town Scottsdale, Kierland Commons, and Scottsdale Quarter

Tuesday, May 12
9:30 a.m.  –  4:30 p.m.

The National Board is pleased to provide an afternoon of self-guided urban exploring, shopping, and dining at three separate destinations: Old Town Scottsdale, Kierland Commons, and Scottsdale Quarter.

Take this opportunity on Tuesday to escape the hotel and hop on an exclusive National Board shuttle to do some exploring. Make sure to carve out a few hours to visit one-of-a-kind Old Town Scottsdale. This district is known for its unique boutiques featuring Southwestern souvenirs, jewelry, and art; as well as art galleries and museums.

Kierland Commons, located closer to the hotel, is known as “a unique, upscale Main Street outdoor lifestyle center that artfully blends retails shopping, dining, and entertainment.” There are over 70 high-end specialty stores to explore and plenty of lunch options, too. If you can’t find what you’re looking for at Kierland Commons, catch the shuttle to neighboring Scottsdale Quarter, which features over 80 additional retailers and dining options.

The shuttle will run to all three locations continuously throughout the day, making scheduled stops to allow guests the flexibility to spend as little or as much time out and about as they like. Guests who participate in this shuttle adventure will receive a special incentive to enhance their shopping experience. More information on each location and the shuttle schedule will be provided onsite.

Shuttle service will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. This outing requires a considerable amount of walking. Comfortable shoes and attire are recommended.

NOTE: ATTENDEES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ATTEND THE TUESDAY OUTING INTENDED FOR DESIGNATED GUESTS. THIS POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.
