Henson to present: “An Introduction to the U.S. Chemical Safety Board”

The National Board welcomes Adam Henson as a General Session speaker for the 92nd General Meeting on May 13 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Mr. Henson is a chemical safety recommendations specialist at the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB).

As part of his work, Mr. Henson gives presentations under the agency’s advocacy program with the goal of driving chemical safety excellence to protect communities, workers, and the environment.

Mr. Henson has 15 years of experience in chemical safety and security. He was a nuclear biological chemical defense specialist while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during which time he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was also a compliance officer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, specializing in process safety management, combustible dust hazards, and hazardous waste operations and emergency response.
