Wednesday Evening Banquet Entertainment Announced
The National Board is pleased to announce the comedic juggling duo The Passing Zone will be the featured entertainers at the 87th National Board/ASME General Meeting Wednesday Evening Banquet on May 9, 2018, at the Hilton Anatole.
The Passing Zone’s Jon Wee and Owen Morse have been winning over skeptical audiences with their innovative stunts and good-natured humor. The two admit most people don’t think juggling is a classy form of entertainment – that is – until audiences see them in action. Time and again the duo has shattered perceptions and wowed audiences with their interactive performances.
The duo has won 18 gold medals from the International Jugglers’ Association and holds five Guinness World Records. They have performed on America’s Got Talent (2006 and 2016); at halftime shows for the NBA, CBA, and NCAA; and on return appearances on NBC’s Today show. They appeared in the major motion picture The Addams Family as juggling stand-ins for actors Raul Julia and Christopher Lloyd, and performed as juggling chefs in an episode of Hell’s Kitchen.
Companies such as Microsoft, Old Navy, Kodak, and Boeing have brought The Passing Zone to their corporate events to entertain and demonstrate the power of teamwork.
