Vincent Scarcella Announced as General Session Speaker

The National Board announces Vincent Scarcella, Zone Director with CNA Risk Control, will address the 86th General Meeting May 8, 2017, in Anchorage, Alaska. His presentation is entitled, “Rules for Commissioned Inspectors.”

Mr. Scarcella is a member of the National Board Committee on Qualifications for Inspection and is responsible for CNA internal audits for compliance with NB-369, Accreditation of Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA) Performing Inservice or Repair/Alteration Inspection Activities.

In his role at CNA, he is responsible for risk control in the North East & Mid Atlantic Zones, including budget responsibilities, 24 staff, $1.8M vendor budget, quality control, large loss review, high hazard file review, and risk control marketing. He manages compliance for 14,000 jurisdictionally-mandated inspections, and is a contributor to the new business model team, staff modeling, and new applications team. He has been employed with CNA Risk Control since 2002.
