Gary Scribner Announced as General Meeting Speaker

The National Board announces Manager of Technical Services Gary Scribner will address the 85th General Meeting May 9, in Orlando, Florida. His presentation is entitled, The National Board Inspection Code.

Mr. Scribner’s role at the National Board as manager of technical services involves overseeing the organization’s flagship publication, The National Board Inspection Code. His association with the National Board began in 2007, when as deputy chief for the state of Missouri, he was elected into National Board membership. During his tenure with the state, Scribner was an active member of the NBIC Committee, the Board of Trustees, and was elected the Board’s second vice chairman.

Mr. Scribner served 22 distinguished years in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3. During his career he served aboard the US destroyer Blandy, US carriers America and Saratoga, and the nuclear carrier George Washington.
