ASME Governor Bernard E. Hrubala Announced as General Meeting Speaker
The National Board announces Bernard Hrubala, ASME governor and global business development manager for TUV Rheinland AIA Services LLC., will address the 84th General Meeting April 27, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His presentation is entitled, ASME’s Impact on Global Safety.
Mr. Hrubala received a master’s in education from Eastern Kentucky University and is qualified as an authorized nuclear inspector supervisor with over 30 years of extensive and diversified experience in the pressure equipment industry. Mr. Hrubala has actively participated on several ASME Standard Development Committees and Boards and currently serves as Governor. He also served as Sr. Vice President, Standards and Certification, from 2008-2011, Vice President Safety Codes and Standards from 2000-2003, and Vice President Conformity Assessment from 1997-2000.
As the global business development manager for pressure equipment certification, in addition to ASME and NBIC, Mr. Hrubala has experience implementing the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), DOSH in Malaysia, SANAS in South Africa, and other international conformity assessment programs.
