The National Board Synopsis of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Laws, Rules and Regulations will be presented in a new online format in 2014. The new Synopsis web page will feature a dropdown box menu so users can select a specific jurisdiction and review detailed information regarding current laws, rules, and regulations. Each online report will also include the prevailing requirements, detailed contact information, and regulatory history for each jurisdiction. An at-a-glance Synopsis update report will continue to be published in the winter issue of the BULLETIN. The 2014 Synopsis will be available in February.

 

 

The National Board recently sent out notices to participating jurisdictional authorities with detailed instructions regarding the new online Synopsis reporting method for both Members and Non-Members. If your jurisdiction did not receive the notice, or if you have questions about the new registration and reporting process, please email webadmin@nationalboard.org. 

 

The National Board requests all Synopsis content be updated by January 15th, 2014.
