Free NBIC Download for Commissioned Inspectors and R Certificate Holders

Commissioned Inspectors and R Certificate Holders can now download a complimentary copy of the 2025 National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).

Below are step-by-step instructions for Commissioned Inspectors, or watch this video tutorial to guide you through the download process:

1. Log into your National Board Business Center account.
2. Click on View/Edit My Profile in the navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page to find your NBIC Coupon Code.
4. Click Visit the NBIC e-Delivery Page to Redeem. You will be prompted to log into a National Board website account. NOTE: this is NOT your Business Center account. If you do not have an account, click Create a new account.
5. After logging in, you will be redirected to a page to enter your Coupon Code. In the box provided, enter the code and click Redeem Code.
6. Read and acknowledge the terms and conditions of the agreement by clicking the box at the bottom of the page.
7. You will be redirected to a page to download a copy of the current NBIC Code.

R Certificate Holders

Below are step-by-step instructions for R Certificate Holders:

1. Visit the National Board Business Center.
2. Log into your company’s Certificate Administrator account.
   • If your Certificate Administrator account has never been accessed, an email will be sent with the user ID and password for the account.
   • If you utilize the Forgot User ID or Password feature, enter Administrator instead of your last name.
3. Once logged in, click on the NBIC tab and select Get the NBIC.
4. Click the Copy button to copy the Coupon Code.
5. Click the link that states Visit the NBIC e-Delivery Page to Redeem.
6. Paste the coupon code into the Coupon Code field and click Redeem Code.
7. On the next page you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions.
8. You will then be directed to a new page where you can download each of the 4 parts of the NBIC separately.
