National Board Test Lab Breaks Ground on Expansion
The National Board broke ground on July 20 for expansion of the National Board Testing Laboratory. The expansion will add 2,970 square feet to the testing area of the lab and will include new test equipment and upgrades to support equipment.
Goal of the expansion is to help with increased volume of work, provide quicker response to certification customers, and to accommodate future growth. The expansion is scheduled to be completed and functioning by the first of the year. Major features of the lab’s expansion will be reported in the fall 2011 BULLETIN.
