
Adams, Clark to Present: ‘Boiler Inspectors – An Evolving Responsibility’
The National Board is pleased to welcome Rodger Adams and Tom Clark as General Session speakers on May 12 at the 93rd General Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Adams leads Zurich’s South Region of Machinery Breakdown (MB) Risk Engineering (RE) Consultants, which conducts jurisdictional boiler and pressure vessel inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services and oversees the jurisdictional servicing of 13,000 objects across 12 states. Before joining Zurich in 2009, Adams graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics.
Adams holds an NBBI IS Commission and an R Endorsement. He also is an NBIC Subgroup Installation member.

Clark is the chief boiler inspector for the Oregon Building Codes Division under the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
Prior to state service, he worked as a critical facilities technician in the data center industry. Clark also served in the US Navy as a nuclear engineering laboratory technician onboard the USS Enterprise.
Clark is an at large member of NBBI’s Board of Trustees, chair of NBBI’s Committee on Qualifications for Inspection, and a member of NBIC Subgroup and Subcommittee Installation.
