Vincent Scarcella Elected to Replace Scott Brodkorb

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors is pleased to announce that Vincent Scarcella was elected to the Advisory Committee by the Board of Trustees on March 10.

Scarcella, a risk control director at CNA Financial, brings over 30 years of experience in risk management, including underwriting, claims investigation, and contractor management. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served as a propulsion engineer, control systems technician, laboratory technician, and firefighter. He is also an active member of NBBI’s Committee on Qualifications for Inspection.

Scarcella, who will represent Authorized Inspection Agencies, succeeds Scott Brodkorb and will serve the remainder of Brodkorb’s term, which ends on August 31, 2026. Advisory Committee members can serve two consecutive three-year terms.
