Perrin, Siefert to Present: “Emerging Issues in the Power Generation Industry”

The National Board is pleased to announce Dr. John Siefert as a General Session speaker on May 12 at the 93rd General Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Siefert has spent the last 13 years working for Electric Power Research Institute (ERIP) where he is the Area Lead for materials research in the Generation Sector. His experiences in welding research are diverse, and he is the primary or a contributing author to more than 150 manuscripts.

Dr. Siefert also made a presentation with Hamit Afiyet of LG&E-KU at the National Board Inspection Code’s Subcommittee Repairs and Alterations meeting this past July in Louisville.
