Milton Washington Retires as Deputy Director for New Jersey

Milton Washington retired February 28, 2023, as Deputy Director for the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

A native of Victoria, Texas, Mr. Washington had been a National Board member and deputy director for about 23 years. He also had been a member of the NBBI Board of Trustees for nearly 14 years.

“During my tenure as a member of the (National Board), I am happy to have been able to contribute to the industry and made some good friends in the process,” Mr. Washington said in an email announcement. “Mostly, I am privileged to have worked with so many whom, I am proud to call my peers.”

Mr. Washington has joined the National Board as a senior staff engineer – credentialing.
