Ronald W. Spiker Joins National Board
Ronald W. Spiker, chief boiler inspector for the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, has been elected to the National Board. He is South Carolina’s first National Board member.
Mr. Spiker was graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and served in the US Navy from June 1979 through November 1995. He has worked as plant engineer and maintenance supervisor with Jefferson Smurfit and Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, plant engineer with International Paper, boiler and machinery consultant with CNA Insurance, and jurisdictional boiler inspector with ARISE Inc. He became chief boiler inspector for South Carolina in June 2009.
Mr. Spiker holds National Board Commission No. 12958. Residing in Shelby, North Carolina, he and his wife Donna have two children, Daniel and Laura.
